본 연구는 비군사적 위협 증가에 따른 중국군의 대응태세 변화에 대한 분석이다. 전통적 안보에 대한 중국군의 인식이 비군사적 안보를 강조하는 방향으로 변화하고 있다. 1949년 신중국 건설 이후 중국의 안보관과 군사전략의 변화를 통해 전통적, 군사적 안보위협에서 포괄적, 비군사적 안보위협으로 전환되는 배경과 과정을 살피고자 한다. 최근 비군사적 위협은 그 위협의 정도나 내용 면에 있어서 더욱 증대되고 있으므로 국제안보환경의 복잡성과 불확실성이 커지고 있는 실정이다. 이에 중국 시진핑 정부는 2015년 중국의 군사전략에 관한 국방백서를 발간하면서 군사적 위협과 비군사적 위협에 대응하기 위한 중국군의 전략적 임무를 명시하고 있다. 중국은 미국과의 경쟁관계 속에서 세계 G2의 시대를 열어가고 있으며, 정치, 경제, 군사적으로 꾸준히 성장하고 있고 중국의 부상은 한국의 안보전략에도 지대한 영향을 미치는 변수이다.
초 록 [영문]
This study aims to analyze China's response to the increase in non-military security threats in the G2 era. China's perception of traditional security is changing to emphasize non-military security. In this study, we will look into the background and process of transition from traditional and military security threats to comprehensive and non-military security threats through examining the changes in China's security and military strategies after the creation of the New China in 1949. Recently, the degree and content of non-military security threats are increasing and as a result the complexity and uncertainty of the international security environment are also increasing. The Xi Jinping's China, therefore, published defense white paper for its military strategy in 2015, stating that the key Chinese military's strategic missions was to respond to military as well as non-military security threats. The U.S. and China are in a competitive relation and yet are the important pillars of the G2 World. Given that China is growing steadily in the political, economic and military fields, the rise of China is now becoming a far more important factor in Korea's security strategy
