본 연구는 해군의 환경과 특성을 중심으로 한 해군병영상담의 실제에 대해 군 간부들의 이해를 도모하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 군 상담에 대한 일반적인 내용들을 살펴본 뒤, 효과적인 병영상담이 이루어지기 위해 염두에 두어야 할 해군 조직의 일반적인 특성에 대해 고찰하였다. 함정이라는 좁은 환경 내에서 장병들이 장기간 함께 생활하는 것이 장병들의 정신건강과 어떤 관련을 맺는지 알아보고, 한국 해군이 지향하는 리더십과 연관하여 해군 병영상담의 실제를 살펴보았다. 또한 군 상담이 무엇이고 일반 상담과 어떤 차이를 갖는지를 알아보고, 병영상담 실태 및 한계점에 대해서도 언급하였다. 끝으로, 최근 변화하고 있는 군대 내 분위기와 장병 정신건강 현황에 관한 다양한 자료들을 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 앞으로 군 상담 차원에서 긍정적인 병영문화를 위해 우리가 노력해야 하는 점이 무엇인지를 제안하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. |

The purpose of this study is to promote military officers' understanding of the reality of counseling service for naval soldiers, centering on the environment and characteristics of the ROK Navy. First, the general characteristics of naval organization were discussed to establish effective disease screening methods. One important aspect of the characteristics of the naval organization is that soldiers live together for a long time in the narrow environment of ship hull. Since soldiers are facing with a significantly different environment compared to before their enlistment, it is not surprising that the stress of this environmental change is inevitably high. Existing characteristics, such as difficulty in forming interpersonal relationships and introverts, reinforce stress. While we examined the reality of counselling naval soldiers, we looked into its relationship with the characteristics of general counseling, military counseling, and the Navy leadership. Lastly, our analysis of various data on the changing atmosphere and military mental health status in the military suggested that this study drew meaningful implications for our efforts to improve life on a ship with military counseling. |
