본 연구는 구조방정식 모형을 이용해 사관학교 교육만족도의 주요 영향요인들을 식별하였으며 생도생활상의 압박·스트레스 및 전공·훈련과정의 어려움이 갖는 매개효과를 발견하였다. 본 연구에서 교수의 태도·특성과 학교의 이해와 지원은 직접적으로 교육만족도를 높일 뿐 아니라 생도생활상의 압박과 스트레스를 줄여주고 전공과 훈련과정의 어려움을 줄여줌으로써 교육만족도를 높이는 간접효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 생도생활상의 압박과 스트레스, 전공 및 훈련의 어려움을 매개로 한 간접효과의 크기는 학교의 이해와 지원이 갖는 직접효과의 약 20% 정도였다. 스트레스 요인들이 소진을 초래할 수 있음을 인식하여 생도들의 다양한 스트레스 요인들을 완화 또는 해소시키려는 지휘부의 노력이 필요하다. |

This study using a structural equation model identified the determinants of naval academy cadets’ satisfaction with educational services, and found the mediating effects of pressure and stress of cadet life as well as those of difficulties in major and training courses. This study demonstrated that professors’ positive attitudes and characteristics, and genuine understanding and support from the leaders of the naval academy, towards their cadets not only directly increase the cadets’ satisfaction with educational services, but also have an indirect effect of increasing satisfaction by reducing pressure and stress of in cadet life and difficulties in major and training courses. This study also showed that the size of the indirect effect mediated by pressure and stress of in cadet life, and difficulties in major and training, was about 20% of the direct effect of understanding and support of the academy. After recognizing that stress factors can cause burnout, it is necessary for the leaders at the academy to make efforts to alleviate a variety of stress factors for the cadets. |
